The Project Accountant (PA) is an integral part of the project management team. The PA is the support for our Project Managers for their administrative tasks and responsibilities. PAs work closely with PMs to set up and maintain system data integrity by setting up clients and projects and facilitating project tracking in Ajera. The PA will be responsible for creating and maintaining project timelines and project budget reporting.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain data in systems such as Ajera and Newforma.
- Enter new clients and projects in Ajera.
- Assist in facilitating project tracking in Ajera.
- Coordinate schedules and calendar invites for the Project Managers.
- Compile meeting minutes in a timely manner.
- Track and analyze project budgets, costs, and updates in Ajera and communicate discrepancies with PMs.
- Prepare and analyze project financial reports. Report on same.
- Communicate with PMs and project team members on project updates.
- Routine project financial tracking, including preparation of reports for leadership.
- Assist with cost and resource allocation and scheduling for project timelines.
- Assist with invoice preparation.
- Filing documentation accurately and timely for complete project files.
- Expected 75% project Billable Time.
- Perform project reviews after completion of project. Report on same.
- Research and provide management reports and SOPs as required.
- Perform other tasks as requested by management.

There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of administrative experience supporting Project Managers, preferably at an engineering/architecture firm.
- 3-5 years of working with Ajera software is preferred.
- Newforma experience is preferred.
- Associate degree in business, communications, administrative office technology, or related field.
