Acela Architects + Engineers, PC is a full services Architectural and Engineering firm in Allentown, PA, consisting of Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors, Architects, Interior Designers, Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Plumbing\Fire Protection Engineers. We design new buildings and renovation projects for the Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, and Aviation sectors.

We are seeking a Technical Writer – Marketing and Creative with 5-8 years of experience to join our marketing group. The key responsibilities of a Marketing Coordinator Engineer include, but are not limited to:

The position offers the ideal candidate an opportunity to advance their career in marketing and add significant input to our marketing team. They will create and distribute positive branding messages and collateral for the company’s products and services.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, modify, and continuously refresh the Company’s standard government AE qualification documents. Understand the needs of requests for standard government AE qualifications and develop qualification packages to meet the need of each request for qualifications.
  • Organizes, coordinates, and controls activities involved in the search, review, preparation and submission of marketing proposals, qualification packages, presentations, brochures, and other similar marketing efforts.
  • Gathers information about marketing opportunities and participates in the fee proposal strategy in support of the firm’s principals and other marketing professionals.
  • Interact with other marketing staff at Acela.
  • Participates in the development of high-quality submissions from point of go decision to client delivery.
  • Responsible for assisting in maintaining all marketing resource materials – brochures, client testimonials, photographs, and other similar documents.
  • Monitors all opportunities and coordinates with and assists other marketing members including teaming partners and outside consultants and vendors (including photographers).
  • Develop, distribute, and manage marketing submissions.
  • Coordinate production and presentation efforts including presentations, interviews, meet and greets, seminars and conference presentations across multiple office locations.
  • Coordinate with clients / prospective clients as required.
  • Maintain company website.
  • Be a role model and lead by example to reinforce company Culture, Values, SOPs, and other corporate procedures.
  • Some travel will be required.
  • This position is not expected to be billable.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added at the discretion of the Company.

Core Competencies & Requirements

  • 5-8 years experience.
  • Well organized.
  • Congenial to both internal and external customers, while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Visio.
  • Creative writing and strong proofreading skills.
  • Artistic eye for organizing marketing materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working additional hours beyond regularly scheduled hours as requested by management.
  • Meet stringent deadlines.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
